A Pencil Case and A Watch
Thursday, August 3 at 5:49 a.m.
Sometimes, I really don't understand what's going on in my mind.

Yesterday I had a dream about riding the subway with some friends, one of whom I hadn't spoken to in a long time.

At one point during the ride, I made a present of my pencil case (with a picture of Tintin on it) to her. She in return, after a moment of surprise, opened the bag she was carrying and gave me a watch - a watch that also had a picture of Tintin on the dial.

Interpret that, if you will.
The subway train represents the daily routine of your life; safe but predicatable, without danger but also without adventure, perhaps mundane.

The friend with whom you have not spoken for a while represents a time in your life from the past, outside the current framework in which you live. Perhaps it was a time in which the future was less clear, the expectations unrealistic but far more exciting.

Tintin represents the highest ideal that one could expect from this world: unparalleled adventure and suspense mixed with uncertainty, friendship but also grief and loss. Moments of elation and discouragement but ultimately triumph, success, and recognition.

The pencil case with tintin on the cover represents your desire to change the current routine.

The watch indicates that time is running out.

You should change your middle name to "Sigmund".
