Oh Joy.
Wednesday, October 20 at 8:37 a.m.
Nothing to say today. Why, you ask? Well, maybe you didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway. I was up till five in the morning reading poetry. What has become of the little life that I had?

AC, I can hear you snickering already. And no, I wasn't doing it for fun.

Amoretti XXII
Edmund Spenser

This holy season, fit to fast and pray,
Met to devotion out to be inclin'd:
Therefore I likewise on so holy day,
For my sweet saint some service fit will find.
Her temple fair is built within my mind,
In which her glorious image placed is,
On which my thoughts do day and night attend,
Like sacred priests that never think amiss.
There I to her as th' author of my bliss,
Will build an alter to appease her ire:
And on the same my heart will sacrifice,
Burning in flames of pure and chaste desire:
The which vouchsafe, O goddess, to accept,
Amongst they dearest relics to be kept.

Real steamy stuff, no?
Actually, it is English. The beginnings of Modern English, I think. Or it could be latter Middle English. Have to look that up.

I'm wasting my time on this stuff because my grades depend on it. And, as you insinuated, this kind of stuff just might come in handy one day.

One day. Not today.

As for my new toy, I will have something to say about it shortly. I'm quite happy with my choice; mine has a better video card, a bigger hard drive, a line-in and bluetooth; the first three of which I need. Also, the sleek silver design of the PowerBook is so much sexier than the iBook's hard, white outershell.

All this, and she weighs in at a mere 4.6 pounds.
