winter. music. redux.
Monday, December 1 at 1:42 p.m.
sitting here in UofT's E.J. Pratt Library, looking out the window, i am most amused but today's weather: a few minutes of snow followed by a few minutes of sunshine followed by more snow and more sunshine and so on. i love our weather.

after hearing hearing Boney M's Mary's Boy Child/Oh My Lord on the radio this morning, i've decided to try and compile a christmas/winter playlist. i'm looking for suggestions. please post a comment or email me with suggestions. here's what i have so far, in no particular order:

Trans Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Canon
Barenaked Ladies w/ Sarah McLachlan - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Sarah McLachlan w/ Jewel - Song For A Winter's Night
Michael W. Smith - Christmastime
Nana Mouskouri - Old Toy Trains
Doris Day & Bing Crosby - Baby, It's Cold Outside

if you're interested in listening to any of these songs, please let me know.

also, i'm prepping to rewrite some parts of this site for a January '04 relaunch. (yes, i agree that that sounds rather pompous.) so, i'm also asking for comments:

what works? what doesn't work?
what was the hardest thing to find/figure out? were certain parts easier to access?
what kind of content is best? what parts should i cut out?

this is one those times where i would really appreciate some feedback. please overcome any reluctance you might feel. i can't repay you, but you will have my gratitude and hopefully a site that works better for you. especially those of you who have taken the time to post. and please, please don't say things like "keep up the good work." tell me what's so good about it instead.

and look at that... it's sunny again.
