It Has Begun

This morning, as I was drinking my coffee, I glanced at yesterday's mail. Among all the flyers was an AOL CD. I couldn't help but smile to myself, thinking of all jokes I've heard about AOL and what seems like a campaign to cover the world with these CDs. As I picked up the CD, the smile was very quickly wiped off my face. It was addressed to me.

I've received my first piece of junk mail. And I'm not sure how this could have happened. I've been very careful with my address and personal information. I've always resisted the call of the free t-shirt or coffee mug or whatever the gift of the day might be.

I'm scared. Please hold me.
