Home again.
Monday, July 12 at 12:47 p.m.
So, we're back from our little foray in Virginia. I must say that I really did enjoy myself, regardless of what others may have to say about the accommodations and the weather. And the drive. Of course I didn't drive, so I can't complain about that.

The first thing I noticed when we arrived at Liberty University was the dome of the Vines Centre. I was quite pleased with myself when I was able to correctly name it as a geodesic. I guess I have retained something from the last couple of years of school.

Coincidently, the 12 of July is the 50th anniversary of the patenting of the geodesic dome by R. Buckminster Fuller. I've posted a link to a Wired story on the subject.

And I think that's all for now.

We listened to some Keith Green on the way home, so I guess he's one my mind right now.

Love With Me (Melody's Song)
Keith Green

You want to love with me, love with me then,
I only ask that you still be my friend,
For there are many where friendship's unknown,
They live together, but really alone.
And the days go their ways in silence,
Tense hours of woe,
We do not mean to have it so.

I know that sometimes I'm harder to love,
I thrash out blindly, like nothing's thought of,
So won't you help me to help you be sure,
God only knows that I want to be pure.
But the world keeps it promise daily, to let me down,
But it can't hide what I have found.

So I will love you, and love you I do,
It's not complete yet, but you know we're not through
And the days go their ways in blessings,
Moments of truth,
We truly dare not waste our youth
You wanna love with me, love with me then.

And lastly, before I go: my most sincere condolences to the Abraham family on their recent loss. You are in our prayers.
